About School
Ankerite is named after Professor M. J. Anker, an Austrian mineralogist. Ankerite is a calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese carbonate mineral of the group of rhombohedral carbonates with formula: Ca(Fe,Mg,Mn)(CO3)2. In composition it is closely related to dolomite, but differs from this in having magnesium replaced by varying amounts of iron(II) and manganese.
It was the year 1997, when Ankerite group of institutions laid down the foundation of Ankerite Group of Companies and Institutions. We entered the education stream in the year 2006.
